General information, not medical advice
The content on this website is for general information and inspiration. It is not medical, psychological or nutritional advice, and it is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a qualified professional.
Check in with your doctor
Please talk with your doctor or healthcare provider before starting a new physical practice, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or surgery, or living with a health condition.
Listen to your body
Every body is different, and every day is different. Move in ways that feel right for you, rest whenever you need to, and skip or modify anything that doesn't feel right. Our teachers will offer options, and you are always welcome to take them or leave them.
Mental and emotional wellbeing
Our programs are designed to be trauma-informed and supportive, but they do not replace therapy, counseling or crisis care. If you are struggling, please reach out to a mental health professional. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 at any time to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Participation in our programs
Taking part in any Sunny Street Initiative or Sunny Street Yoga class, workshop or program is voluntary. Participants may be asked to sign a waiver or registration agreement before joining, and those terms apply to that program.
Links to other websites
This site links to services we use, such as Givebutter and the Sunny Street Yoga website, and occasionally to other helpful resources. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not run.
